Admission Requirements
CUCOM admissions requirements are similar to the ones of the medical schools in U.S. The Admissions Review Committee at CUCOM considers many factors as relevant predictors of a good medical student.
However, as medical school is a rigorous academic challenge, the committee must be satisfied that a prospective student has the ability to successfully assimilate the curriculum.
Applicant to CUCOM will have demonstrated the following strengths and attributes:

MD Admission Requirements
- The candidate must be of the age of 17 years on or before the 31st December in the year of admission. That means for the admission in 2022 intake, the students must be born on or before the 31st December 2005.
- The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and secure at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects of 12th standard. Students belonging to the reserved category (OBC/SC/ST) get a relaxation of 10%. Further, physically challenged students in general/ unreserved category get relaxation of 5%.
- Students are also required to qualify the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). This is mandatory even if the student is planning to pursue his medical studies abroad.
This is essential for all students who wish to return to India and be eligible for appearing for FMGE/ NExT Examination.
4 Years B.Sc. Nursing Admission Requirements
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- Minimum education:
- 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
- Student shall be medically fit.
